To my disappointment, my new Sony NW-A45 walkman used a special Sony USB cable. In 2018 you would expect that a normal USB cable would suffice, but Sony is still sticking to it for the time being. The official Sony cable is difficult to obtain and very expensive. After googling the code on the cable itself (WMC-NW20MU) came to the Subel site. My type of Walkman was not in the list of products that the cable would work with, but because of the low price I put it to the test and immediately ordered 2. Received 2 articles with "MAF USB MP3 MP4" and "Basic Camera Accessory" on the package, so it was a matter of waiting to see if I got the right cables, but luckily it all worked out. For the low price of this article you cannot grumble about this. Very happy with this. The quality seems completely fine and the USB DAC option of the Walkman also works perfectly with these cables, as far as I can judge. Glad I now have a few spare cables to leave around the office and carry in backpacks. It would be a plus for Subtel if they could occasionally update the list of equipment on which a cable works, but I imagine that this is difficult in practice.
