The charger consists of a base part and a separate holder adapted to the respective battery type. The bracket can be easily attached to the base unit. The mechanical connection is good and firm. Power is supplied via a separate plug-in power supply unit via a cable connection to a socket in the base unit. Mechanical connection is good. During operation, the charger on the underside becomes very warm after just a short charging activity. I cannot say whether this is due to the battery to be charged (indicated are 3300mA). To be on the safe side, I placed the charger (charging the battery overnight) on a non-flammable glass surface. An additional connection cable for an alternative power supply via a car socket is included with the charger as an accessory. As a special feature, the basic device also has a USB plug connection for charging additional devices via a USB 2.0 cable.
