3-year guarantee

Every product sold from subtel.co.uk comes with a 3-year guarantee. The guarantee period begins with the receipt of the goods and runs for 3 years.

 

To use this guarantee, you must first return the goods to us, covering the shipping cost yourself. If our inspection of the goods results in a claim under the terms and conditions of our guarantee (see below), we will replace those items for you. We will also reimburse you the shipping costs, calculated via the most cost-effective delivery method.

 

Please send the affected goods, along with the guarantee reference number, to:

Please include a photocopy of the original invoice along with your claim. We cannot process your claim without a copy of the original invoice as we need this as evidence to calculate the guarantee period.

 

Terms & conditions

 

The 3-year guarantee does not include damage from normal wear and tear or defects caused by misuse, inappropriate handling of the goods and/or failure to comply with any installation instructions. 

 

If the returned product is no longer available at subtel.co.uk, we reserve the right to provide an equivalent replacement product.

 

Please note that if you claim under the guarantee, this does not give you the right to a new 3-year guarantee. The original remaining guarantee period still applies for the replacement product. Of course, even though the guarantee is not extended, it does not affect your legal right to claim based on any material defects guarantee.

 

This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, as the provisions run alongside your statutory rights relating to consumer protection and warranty laws. This means that instead of exercising your legal rights, you can use the rights from this guarantee. Alternatively, you can exercise your statutory rights.

 

Any liability under the Product Liability Act remains unaffected.
